The online Accounting Minor from the Sam M. Walton College of Business provides non-business majors access to financial and accounting information and skills needed power today’s workforce. Students can take the Accounting Minor as part of the requirement for the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree program or add the minor to complement any other U of A non-business undergraduate degree program.

Prerequisites: MATH 20503 with a "C" or better and ISYS 11203 with a grade of "C" or better
- ISYS 11203 - Business Application Knowledge - Computer Competency
- ECON 21403 - Basic Economics Theory and Practice
or both- ECON 21003 - Principles of Macroeconomics
- ECON 22003 - Principles of Microeconomics
- BUSI 10303 - Data Analysis and Interpretation

All students seeking an Accounting Minor are required to complete 12 credit hours that include:
- ACCT 20203 - Accounting Principles II
- ACCT 37203 - Intermediate Accounting I
Plus six hours from the following courses:

- ACCT 46703 - Product, Project and Service Costing
