Preparing for the Workforce
The communication minor will boost the skills and knowledge of students preparing for careers in public affairs and advocacy, marketing, management, strategic communication, media relations and sales. Courses focus on topics such as persuasion, media, stereotypes, organizations, health and social movements.
The Department of Communication in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences bridges the humanities and social sciences to explore contemporary human communication, relationships and culture.

Internship Program
Faculty work with students to highlight potential job opportunities after graduation through our internship program. Our internship program continues to grow and many of our faculty have networks in Arkansas and elsewhere that communication students can tap in to as they plan their lives after graduation. Our students also work through alumni channels to pursue both internships and employment after graduation.
