Gain the expertise needed to pursue careers in the growing hospitality management industry. Gain insight and skills in tourism, finance, event management and human resources.

 

You will learn:

  • Foundational business principles with innovative concepts related directly to the distinct industry of tourism and hospitality.
  • Foundational knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food service, lodging and other hospitality venues.
  • How to manage venues and exercise best practices for customer service.
  • Financial, economic, marketing and management skills from the point of view of the hospitality industry.

  • HOSP 2633 - Lodging Property Management
    (Pre- or Corequisite: HOSP 1603)
  • HOSP 3653 - Hospitality, Dietetic Management and Human Resources
    (Prerequisite: HOSP 1603 and Junior Standing)
  • HOSP 4653 - Global Travel and Tourism Management
    (Prerequisites: HOSP 1603, HOSP 3623 or Hospitality Management Minor (HOSP-M) student)
  • HOSP 4673 - Destination Marketing and Operations
    (Prerequisite: HOSP 1603 and Junior Standing)
