July 31, 2025

Patty Milner, assistant vice provost for innovation and the online student experience at Global Campus, describes the demand for online college programs in an interview aired July 25 by KUAF, a National Public Radio affiliate operated by the University of Arkansas.
You can listen to the interview online at the Ozarks at Large program page. It is about 11 minutes long.
Today's technology and expanded course offerings make online education a more attractive option, helping to explain the explosion in demand, Milner says. The U of A offers more than 100 degree, licensure and certificate programs delivered online.
