Pursue Your Goals on Your Schedule

You can reach your career goals by adding a K-12 Special Education endorsement to your current licensure. Courses are offered online to fit your busy schedule.

Licensed, general instruction K-12 teachers can complete courses in this graduate-level study plan and submit their transcripts to the Arkansas Department of Education to earn a K-12 Special Education endorsement.

The College of Education and Health Professions provides the coursework needed for teachers to seek added licensure endorsements from the state. Details about this and other endorsement plans offered through the University of Arkansas are listed on the Teacher Education website.

The Graduate School requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours taken in the undergraduate program and hold a standard K-6 or 4-8 license or a standard 7-12 license in a content area of English Language Arts, Mathematics or Science.
